Arkurius

Arkurius is the planet on which Chasing Shadows and Chasing Tail takes place.

Solar system

Arkurius' solar system is situated within the Twilight Paths galaxy. It is composed of six planets orbiting the Sun. Arkurius is a planet approximately 4.9 billion years old with a size, atmosphere, and climate almost identical to that of Earth’s.
Arkurius is orbited by a single Moon, which maintains a similar size and shape to the orbiting Earth. The Moon is currently home to a lunar research station, where scientists are already preparing to reach other celestial bodies within the solar system.

Day/Night cycle

A day on Arkurius is exactly 24 hours. Arkurius completes its orbit around the Sun in 365 days.

Continents

Arkurius has two major hemispheres. One contains The Common Lands, which contains the continents Furope and Scalica. On the other half of the globe is The Shadow Lands.

Weather

Apart from The Northrung Storm (which has been seen even in summer), the seasonal variation of the planet follows Earth’s, albeit much more consistently. Summer is hot, winter is cold due to a tilt on Arkurius' axis.
