Leelu

Lady Leelu is a vargar of the the Ribahrn Territory  on Udarich. Alongside her husband, Kagero, she was Chieftess of the Fell Tribe before it was scattered by King Hespiro. She is absolutely ruthless and fiercely loyal to her family.
She is the mother of Larka.

History

Before becoming Chieftess, Leelu was the Fell Tribe's greatest spy. She traveled across Ribahrn as the eyes and ears of the clan to learn what the movements of the other tribes and to spy at the edge of other territories. Leelu eventually found these missions to be lonely and settled down with Kagero before he ascended to chieftainhood. The two had several children. Leelu spent time with her daughters, making sure to pass down all of her skills. Larka showed great preternatural dextrousness but Reina was the daughter that really took to Leelu's spycraft. Leelu took on the role as tribe spymaster to make sure her own skills did not age.
Leelu was the first in the tribe to know about Hespiro's summit aboard the Raziel and advised Kagero to take Larka with him. Following the ship's crash and Kagero's unexplained reappearance, Leelu was beside herself with the belief that Larka had died in the crash. She blamed this despair for her inability to counter Hespiro's attack when he later marched on the Fell Tribe. No matter her planning skills and information, Hespiro managed to predict and counter her plans at every turn. The tribe fell and Leelu was separated from Reina when Hespiro gathered all of the tribespeople with druidic abilities. Reina was killed by Hespiro during an accident during this meeting.
Leelu and Kagero were imprisoned, though kept comfortable, by Hespiro. Distraught by the death of their daughter, they raged at Hespiro and fought against any attempt by him to parley even when he told them that Larka had survived and was now traveling with a group called The Big HELP. One night, in her sleep, Leelu saw a vision of Larka encountering some Fell Tribe survivors afar. In this vision, she learned that the coward Shoko had set up as a distraction to escape, making it look like Reina was preparing to attack Hespiro with fire magic. Leelu also saw Larka kill Shoko in revenge. The next time Hespiro came to speak with Leelu, Leelu was more responsive and asked how she could have seen this. Hespiro explained that Larka had psychic gifts meant to help her lead the peoples of Udarich into the future. Leelu saw two futures ahead. If Hespiro was telling the truth, then helping him would lead her daughter to greatness. If he lied, she would be close enough to end him. While Kagero continued to rage against Hespiro, Leelu decided to ally with him.
Leelu learned that Hespiro's psionics were what allowed him to predict and adapt to her plans so easily. With her talents in spycraft, she was made a spy under the command of Zinnia. Leelu also tried to advise Hespiro towards the path of diplomacy as much as possible, suggesting that he ally with the people of Pascatia against their enemies rather than conquer them. She traveled with Hespiro's forces to Cathedra after he pushed back the Church of Gorthag on Stalwart Bridge. After Hespiro took the city, Leelu reunited her Larka and explained what had happened. She welcomed her daughter with open arms and marveled at how powerful and beautiful she had become. Larka asked how Leelu could ally with Hespiro and Leelu urged her daughter to speak with Hespiro, though with cautious ears.
