Cinder

Abbess Cinder is a fire Genasi from Udarich and the current abbess of the the Six Tenet Monastery.

History

Cinder was born in 3113, becoming abbess in 3153.
In the 40th year of Cinder's rule, Ravenna, who had recently been chosen to lead the Hall of Tempests, came to Cinder with a request. Ravenna wanted to take in a young sorceror named Hest but asked Cinder to allow the young girl to become an acolyte without the monastery determining the source of her magic. Cinder refused when Ravenna could not give an adequate reason for this exemption. The following day, Cinder summoned Ravenna, reversing her decision and granting Hest this exemption. Cinder refused to explain this change of heart, though rumors circulated that she had received an unknown visitor late that night before talking to Ravenna.

Personality

• Stoic and law-abiding, but tries her best to temper judgements with kindess.
• She's welcoming of anyone willing to take time and study magic and religion, so long as they share any discoveries with the monastery.
• When not dealing with her duties as Abbess, she spends much of her time studying in Mother Wonder's private library.
