Personal history

If her sister, Melora, is seen as the Goddess of Nature in the seasons, Yarna can be seen in the brutal side of nature. She is the force of evolution at work. She cares about the survival of the fittest. She blesses the fiercest predators and guides the aim of the noblest of hunters. Her goal is to keep her sister's growth and abundance in check. Without the bite of her wolves or the cold of her winter, the world would be overrun with trees and wild deer.
Like her sister, she is often revered by Druids and Rangers. These worshipers try to keep in good standing with both the Red Sisters - as they are sometimes called - to ensure that the Balance of Nature is maintained.
Yarna and her sister have been known to feud from time to time. When this happens great ice-ages or terrible droughts follow. Yarna is usually the more volatile of the two - often trying to pick fights with her stoic sister to test the strength of nature.
