Mordenkainen is known throughout the Multiverse as one of the most powerful mages that has ever lived. While his origins are shrouded in mystery, it is known that he continually strives to do good and fight evil. He founded the Circle of Eight for this very purpose. He travels from plane to plane in search of powerful magical artifacts (both benevolent and malevolent) to ensure that they say out of evil hands.
Education
It is believed that Mordenkainen was trained by powerful wizards from his home plane of Oerth. Others believe that he was Mystra's first pupil.
