Syrfeireas

The Syrfeireas people separated from the Fharneas people thousands of years ago. They reside around the Falfeir Sea, ranging from as far west as the Mireas Kingdom all the way to the Mirvas Kingdom to the east. They have adapted to a much colder climate than their ancestors, and most of their kingdoms rely on the Calefactory Knights. There are also Syrfeireas clans that live even further south, such as the Ersumic or Mizher tribes, which are generally considered unreachable without an extremely well-prepared expedition.

Syrfeireas elevate fire and its related professions to a high status, from the Calefactory Knights who guard the Winter's Embers that keep castles warm to more mundane professions like smiths and lumberjacks. Wood or stone carving is also a well regarded profession among the Syrfeireas. They are usually considered to be hardy, bold, and hopeful, with an indomitable will and a love for craftsmanship. The kingdoms interact with the Fharneas kingdoms to the north, but Syrfeireas are otherwise rather disconnected from other major cultural groups.
