Keraph
Keraph are the fallen among the Aerendas. During the Enlightenment, a group of Fharneas who were with Zhezel at the time were struck with power as divine light fell upon Zhezel. These Aerendas became demigod Reliqus and were Zhezel's best warriors and most trusted assistants, and were seen as holy winged figures by the people. The coming of Aerendas and Daemonas brought about new ages of war among the Fharneas. All Aerendas descended, in some way, from the first Saraph.
Keraph transform when a Saraph forsakes Zhezel, their divine ruler. Their skin is a grey-purple hue and their wings are very dark, and they are regarded to be Daemonas by the people.
Keraph are quite tall and are proficient fliers, and will often spread their black wings for show, and fly when it is redundant to do so. They are known to be unemotional and egotistical, easily live to be centuries old, and have a reduced need for sleep, though they lose their resistance to divine magic, become more cruel with age, and cannot be magically healed.
As they are so few in number and so dangerous, little more is known of them.
