Kathurae

Kathurae are the Jatthirae of eastern Irisqaad who do not have wood-skin caused by Aplaima, the acid rains from the Katorus Peaks. The Jatthirae are descended from the humans who went east with Umaruq, but when he died and formed the Idomarth Sea, the Jatthirae eventually began to form their own dominions.

Kathurae are completely human in their potential, though it is common to be raised to have strong conviction and fast reflexes living in the East Irisqaad kingdoms. Because getting wood-skin is punishable by death, even if acquired accidentally, the Kathurae live in reverent fear of their Hethaskae rulers.
