Bonecladden

The Bonecladden are the elite of the Munajar, Pashurtar, Quratar, Aashanuk, and Alvitar Gutjatar Ulus of southwestern Irisqaad. Bonecladden are the best warriors and leaders of the clans within each ulus, and are identifiable by the fact that they are covered in the skeletons of their victims. Bonecladden wear many spikes protruding out and up, and upon defeating a great warrior or enemy clan leader, either the loser impales themselves on the spikes of their victor as a sign of respect, or the Bonecladden forces the loser onto the spikes as a show of dominance.

The downside, of course, is that Bonecladden become weighed down as they gain victories. The greatest Bonecladden are therefore exceptionally large and powerful Gutjatar. Legend has it that the greatest Bonecladdens in history become engulfed by the piles of those they defeat, and become a permanent landmark, a mound of bones, and the Bonecladden is suffocated or dies from exposure or dehydration. To remove the bodies or spikes is to surrender all the strength attained throughout life, and is usually seen as asking for death on the spot.
