Aasesh

Aasesh was a Runar of Fallasar and embodied order. He and Nuyimir, both Runar of order, took their people away from the Reas after being attacked by them. Aasesh took his Majohgar across the sea to Cjangar, where the Yacjeca Kingdom was founded.
A small group of Mahjogar who were praying atop a mountain were closest to the divine light that spilled forth during the Enlightenment, and they became the Dulgar, able to see deeper than most. They looked down and witnessed Aasesh fleeing from the divine light in fear. They felt disgust at his cowardice, and they lured him to the surface of the sea and slew him, wearing his golden flesh to distinguish themselves as the new gods of the continent of Cjangar. The Yacjeca Kingdom was replaced by other civilisations. The Dulgar gained the ability to see the lamps, or consciousnesses, of other sentient beings, by observing the world through their eyelids.
