Mount Bakker

Mount Bakker, a caldera at the top of a mountain, is the southernmost mountain on The Saurid Covenant. While the Rift mountain range is prone to snow and ice, Mount Bakker's magma lakes and relative isolation create the perfect conditions for a tropical oasis.
Saurids almost exclusively live within the Caldera and it's stronghold, Ceratop Fortress, due to it's climate. The magma lakes and tropical flora and fauna sustain a warm environment that is perfect for sustaining heat loving Saurids, who struggle in colder environments more than other Trogite ethnic groups.
Although Saurids are a Free Trogite group, their culture is insular and commonly misunderstood because of the geographic isolation of The Saurid Covenant.
