Doriaani Martial Arts

The martial schools of Doriaa dot the countryside and are very diverse. Given the wide open plains and abundant sun, Doriaani martial arts are often about harnessing ambient luma using various physical and meditative techniques. There are also a lesser amount of even more secretive umbral schools that focus on harnessing an individuals personal umbra.

The Dorian Legion is a military formation composed of many different fighters who are recruited from villages and monasteries for various positions. The Legion pays well, but they are not allowed to live inside the main city.

Serving in the Legion is controversial among many martial schools, whose culture is more rooted either in a desire to train for spiritual or competitive reasons, or as an end unto itself.
