Salwardian

The salwardian language is fairly fast paced and guttural. Spoken by the Salwards towards the northern tip of the continent. The language has undergone some very serious transitions recently when Salward swallowed Olverg. Due to the merging many people had picked up the new language and some people have taken to mixing the two mid sentence. Either way salwards do not typically lax eloquent and as such their poets and writers are typically rarer, although not impossible to find. Those that do choose to entertain the more eloquent arts have useful insight into their harsh landscape and turn its danger into a form of beauty. The songs written by salwards mostly fall into two categories: either holy songs written by the Olverg's and their converts or the drunkard's songs. Either way much of their music has to do with living in their lives in the cold and dark, and is strangely haunting.
