A swirling vortex of ethereal energy erupts at the chosen point, shimmering with colors unseen in the mortal world. Choose one of the following effects:
Summon Spectral Legion: From the vortex, surge forth three spectral warriors (treat each as a CR 2 Specter). These warriors serve as your loyal allies for 1 minute, obeying your commands and attacking your enemies with spectral claws and chilling wails. They are immune to non-magical bludgeoning, piercing, and slashing damage.
Bridge of Whispers: The vortex stabilizes into a shimmering bridge of ethereal mist, stretching from your location to a point within range that you can see. This bridge lasts for 1 minute, and any willing creature can use it to instantly teleport from one end to the other, regardless of intervening obstacles. Creatures hostile to you cannot use the bridge.
Echoes of the Departed: The vortex acts as a portal to the memories of the departed. Choose one deceased creature whom you are familiar with. By stepping through the vortex, you enter a spectral realm filled with echoes of their life and memories. You can spend up to 1 minute exploring these echoes, seeking knowledge, guidance, or even closure. You may ask questions and receive cryptic or straightforward answers as you navigate the landscape of their memories. Upon exiting the vortex, you return to the material plane with any insights you have gained.
At Higher Levels: When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 6th level or higher, the number of spectral warriors increases by 1 for each slot level above 5th. Additionally, the bridge of Whispers can be made one-way only, allowing creatures to cross from the material plane to the chosen destination but not back.
