Dreamveil is a powerful spell that weaves the fabric of dreams into reality, blurring the line between the two. When you cast this spell, a 60-foot radius centered on you becomes shrouded in a surreal, dream-like haze. All creatures within the area, except for you, must make an Intelligence saving throw. On a failed save, a creature becomes entranced by the veil, experiencing vivid hallucinations and altered perceptions.
The spell creates the following effects within its area:
Hallucinatory Terrain: The environment within the radius transforms into a dreamscape. Creatures perceive fantastical and shifting terrain. The actual terrain becomes difficult terrain, and creatures have disadvantage on ability checks and saving throws to navigate or perceive the true nature of their surroundings.
Mind Warp: Entranced creatures experience distorted reality. At the start of each affected creature’s turn, roll a d6. On a roll of 4-6, the creature loses its action for that turn as it is caught up in a hallucination.
Dreamsight: As an action, you can peer into the dreams and fears of one entranced creature within the area, gaining insight into its thoughts and memories. This grants you advantage on all attack rolls, ability checks, and saving throws against that creature until the end of your next turn.
Affected creatures can attempt an Intelligence saving throw at the end of each of their turns, breaking free from the dreamlike state on a successful save. Upon leaving the area or breaking free, creatures are disoriented, suffering disadvantage on attack rolls, ability checks, and saving throws until the end of their next turn due to the jarring transition back to reality.
  Classes: Bard, Sorcerer, Wizard
