Casting Time: 1 reaction, which you take when you or a creature within 30 feet of you is targeted by an attack, spell, or harmful effect

Components: V, S, M (a silver lyre string and a feather from a songbird which must be tied to the lyre string and is consumed by the casting of the spell)
Duration: 1d4+1 rounds

This spell draws on the Bard's mastery of song and charm to create a protective aura. When cast:

Muse's Shield: The target gains a +5 bonus to AC and advantage on saving throws against the triggering attack or effect.

Harmonic Resonance: If the target is hit by an attack or harmful effect, the spell emits a resonant harmonic wave. All allies within 30 feet of the target gain a +2 bonus to AC and saving throws until the start of your next turn.

Melodic Counter: If the attack or effect is from a creature within 30 feet, that creature must succeed on a Charisma saving throw or become charmed by you until the end of its next turn. While charmed, the creature is incapacitated and fascinated by an illusory performance created by the spell.

Bardic Inspiration: As part of casting this spell, you can choose one creature affected by the Harmonic Resonance. That creature gains a Bardic Inspiration die (d10) that can be used within the next 10 minutes.

At Higher Levels: When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 7th level or higher, the radius of Harmonic Resonance increases by 10 feet, and the Bardic Inspiration die becomes a d12 for each slot level above 6th.
