Zero Gravity Operations

This skill applies to any sort of combat or athletic maneuver that is conducted in a zero-gravity or microgravity environment. Historically, human beings do not adjust well to the feeling of being weightless and can become quickly incapacitated with fatigue as they thrash about trying to get their bearings. Characters with this skill have logged enough time in microgravity environments that they may roll this skill instead of other applicable skills such as Brawl, Stealth, or Hyper-Technology, etc. The difficulty for any specific roll is dependent on numerous factors including the complexity of the task, the amount of opposition faced, and the availability of tethers, space suits, and equipment to make the task easier.

Ability Levels:


0 Abysmal: Unless you are completely strapped down, the odds are that you will lose your lunch at least once.
1 Novice: You know the basics of microgravity mobility. You usually do not hyperventilate or throw up.
2 Practiced: Typical Space Marine: As long as you are on a tether or have access to good equipment your good for several days.
3 Competent: Typical Spacer: You routinely go on space walks and you can maneuver around most space faring vessels without a problem.
4 Expert: You no longer perceive movement through the lens of a local vertical. Your quick movements through microgravity are truly impressive.
5 Master: Your character has been in space for so long they may not even remember the feeling of gravity.

Spacers, Military Personnel, Void Gangrel, Technologists, Pirates, Explorers, Bounty Hunters.
Sample Specialties:   Space Walking, Microgravity Combat, Microgravity Repairs, Microgravity Exercise, Long-Term Exposure, Quick Transitions Between Normal and Microgravity.   Players may choose a specialty at level 4 and gain a second specialty at level 5.
