Quick Access Stat Block: Difficulty To Hit

Whenever an opponent targets your character with an unwanted physical action or attack they must roll their attack dice pool against the difficulty of your character's To Hit rating. For your opponent to succeed on their attack against your character, one or more of their rolled attack dice must equal or exceed your character's To Hit rating. The higher the number of your character's To Hit rating, the harder it is for opponents to harm them with physical attacks. The To Hit rating is calculated by adding 4 to your character's Dexterity score usually resulting in a number between 5 and 9. The value of the To Hit rating can also be temporarily modified up or down depending on player actions or situation circumstances. For example, a grappled or restrained character suffers a -2 penalty to their To Hit rating, while a character that wears light battle armor receives a +1 or +2 bonus to their To Hit rating depending on the quality of the armor. The maximum To Hit rating a character may achieve is 10, while the lowest To Hit rating is 3.
