Minor Levitation

A Changeling can cause a small object to float in place and may move the object without physically touching it. The object must be small enough to hold in the spell caster’s hand and must weigh less than 5 pounds. Once the object is Levitated, the spell caster may exert fine motor control over the object. The basic rule is that the caster can do anything to the object that they could normally accomplish one handed. Sharp or jagged objects may be wielded as a disembodied weapon with combat being dependent on the spell caster’s combat and athletics skills.

System

Cost: 1 Glamour Trait.   Range: The spell caster must maintain a line of sight on the object they are moving and must maintain concentration on their spell for as long as they wish to levitate the object.   Special: The spell automatically succeeds for simple movement tasks, but fine motor control requires a Dexterity + Athletics roll to use the object with precision or a Dexterity + Melee roll to use the object as a weapon.   Roll: N/A. This power automatically works.   Base Difficulty: N/A.   Damage: This power does not cause damage itself, but the caster may use the controlled object to cause damage.   Prerequisites: None.

Wyrd Powers

Wyrd Cantrips affect the Dreaming and the Prime Reality Plane equally well. Creatures in the Prime Reality Plane that view a Wyrd spell will assume the Changeling is using magical powers unless they conceal the nature of the spell with special effects, slight of hand, or some other ruse to cause the mortal to believe it was all a “neat trick.”
