Gift of the Horse

A Character with this power may temporarily boost their own—or an allies’—Stamina rating. Characters under this enchantment temporarily look more tone in their musculature, exude a glow of good health, and make physical exertion look effortless. If cast upon oneself, the initial boost is +3 points to Stamina (this buff may temporarily take the Changeling above the maximums indicated on their character sheet). Successive castings stack but provide diminishing returns (2nd casting = +2 to Stamina, while later castings = +1 to Stamina). Regardless of how many times the Changeling buffs themselves, the power wears off entirely after 30 minutes from the first casting. If the Changeling casts this power on another character, the buff is only +1 to Stamina, though multiple castings still stack.

System

  Cost: 1 Glamour Trait.   Range: Physical touch is required if used to buff an ally.   Special: If this power is used to achieve levels of Manipulation beyond the maximums on a character's character-sheet, the character will appear inhumanly subtle in social situations to the casual observer, i.e. they will not be able to pass as a non-supernatural being.   Roll: Dexterity + Athletics to make contact with an unwilling character, otherwise this power automatically works.   Base Difficulty: The target's To Hit rating.   Damage: This power does not cause damage.   Prerequisites: None.

Wyrd Powers

Wyrd Cantrips affect the Dreaming and the Prime Reality Plane equally well. Creatures in the Prime Reality Plane that view a Wyrd spell will assume the Changeling is using magical powers unless they conceal the nature of the spell with special effects, slight of hand, or some other ruse to cause the mortal to believe it was all a “neat trick.”
