Champion Class Changelings

General Description:

  Champion Class Changelings are born out of human dreams of conquest, victory, and triumph. Champion class characters tend to promote positive ideologies such as heroism in service to a just cause, and stalwart courage in the face of oppression and evil when they are controlled by their Seelie legacy. Unseelie champions tend to be conquerors, bullies, and despots who pursue victory at any cost.  

Appearance:

  Champions are large-bodied changelings with powerful musculature, imposing frames, and a steely-eyed gaze that cause most opponents to think twice before crossing them. Champions usually dress in ways that express their martial prowess and competency often donning military uniforms, letter jackets, holstered weapons, or heraldic livery if they are particularly old school.

Lifestyle and Aging:

  • Childlings (Age: 5-12). Young Champion Class Changelings are often the largest, most physically fit kids on the playground. They often excel at sports, test their own physical limits, and become very goal oriented early in life.

  • Wilders (Age: 13-18). Teen-aged Champions thrive on adversity. They desire to be the best that they can be by playing sports, taking up martial arts, and engaging in social activities that reward strength and endurance.

  • Grumps (Age 19 +). As adults, Champion Class Changelings often find themselves working civic-minded jobs such as fire fighters, detectives, mercenaries or simply enlist as soldiers. Grump Champions need to have a sense of significance about their work or else they succumb to banality quickly.

Birthrights and Frailties:

  Birthright: Titan’s Power. Champion class changelings are abnormally strong and resilient. Add +1 to the number of available Strength and Stamina dice whenever your character’s Fae Seeming is active.   Birthright: Stubbornness. Champion class changelings cannot be easily persuaded to abandon their beliefs. Any persuasion rolls made against a Champion class changeling to change their mind are rolled at a Difficulty = 10.   Frailty: Bond of Duty. Any champion class changeling will supernaturally honor their word to the letter. Treat all promises and agreements made by the champion like a Geas Binding.
