Attribute: Dexterity

Dexterity is a raw measure of a character’s maneuverability. As a character’s Dexterity rating increases they become more capable of performing more speedy, agile, and precise movements. Each Dexterity rating listed below includes a description of a physical feat a character may perform without a roll of the dice. Dexterity is used whenever you attempt to run, throw a projectile, exert fine motor control over and object, strike a target with your body or weapon, move quietly, drive a vehicle, or balance your body.

Attribute Levels

0 Abysmal: You lack the basic coordination to move around. Even simple maneuvers like standing up and walking end with you lying on the floor.
1 Poor: You can walk around and handle household items without too many problems. Fine motor coordination and using power tools is another matter.
2 Average: You can jog and use basic tools without too many problems. You can also multi-task several hand-eye coordination tasks.
3 Good: You can run quickly and navigate over or around simple obstacles without incident. You have raw athletic potential for many coordination-based sports.
4 Exceptional: You can juggle objects accurately and handle delicate operations with a high degree of accuracy.
5 Outstanding: You can climb sheer surfaces, handle deadly weapons and tools with machine-like precision. You could easily qualify as an Olympic gymnast.
6 Paragon: You can move with cat-like grace. All your movements are precise and controlled in a way no normal human could match.
7 Super-Human: Your movements are more like a bird in flight, an insect on a wall, or a cheetah in pursuit of prey. your speed and manual dexterity are astounding.
Common Dexterity Based Rolls:
  • Dexterity + Brawl. When rolling to hit an opponent with an unarmed strike.
  • Dexterity + Melee. When rolling to hit an opponent with a martial weapon.
  • Dexterity + Energy Guns. When rolling to hit an opponent with energy weapons.
  • Dexterity + De'Carta. When rolling to hit an opponent with an energy-blade.
  • Dexterity + Stealth. When rolling to hide and avoid detection.
  • Dexterity + Mech Operations. When rolling to maneuver in a powered mech suit.
