Great Library

The Great Library is a large campus on a floating island that drifts above the Plane of Neutrality. Large buildings devoted to storing the knowledge of the planes have been erected by ancient gods and their old magic still persists. Dubbed the Great Library by those that have come across it in their thirst for information, this complex is open to all that could get there. Most visitors arrive in the form of spectral entities using magic to project themselves across the planes. Rarely will one traverse the planes but those that do are welcomed to a sprawling center of art, culture, and knowledge. Music plays, Poetry is sung, stories orated by spectral gatherers and the rare denizens of the plane itself.
The library itself is constantly filling itself with new volumes written on the various material planes. Thousands of years ago the man who would become The Story Teller  was left here in a flash of light and left with nothing but a stone with an edict from the gods that he shall watch over the Great Library.
