Amal Rosas
A Wood Elf Artificer hailing from the far off forests of Elpheron. An outcast among her people as she spent far more time with the gnomes who lived at the edge of the forest than with her own family. driven by curiosity and a thirst for knowledge, she exceled at her craft and soon surpassed the gnomes who taught her. She was a free spirit and would not sit long in the forest under the guidance of the gnomes. It was this spirit that urged her to travel to the newly open Ursa Islands.
On these Islands she ran into a material she had never comprehended before. It was a metal that could fixate on the magic of the planet itself. A conduit for primal power that Amal soon configured into a compass to detect Leylines. Using this she found the unnatural changes in the realm and soon found herself entangled with the young nobleman Kline and the the Great Library. It is here that she met with The Story Teller and learned of their mission. She joined with the promise that Kline would help fund her creations to help and the Story Teller would grant her access to some of the ancient designs of the Great Library.
With this they developed the planar Leyline navigator based on the compass that Amal originally made. The device working well they were able to pinpoint where on the Ursa Islands that the Leylines were leading to.
