Genetic power in all Dalemen makes them highly resistant to magic, and have an invisible shield pushing away magic. This genetic power was created by the the Order of Maigal as a curse response the Dalesmen's rebellion against religion and magic, making it unable for them to seek medicinal help within the Order.

Common Etiquette rules
Formal at parties, in other parts of time it is considered rude to talk to a smith etc. when they are working, unless the work requires it. It makes the Dalemen a lot more social in their free time, and the taverns never seem to have close at any time.
Common Dress code
You dress according to your profession, also in a formal outfit.
Birth & Baptismal Rites
At birth, the father is supposed to make the child's first tools, that are meant to be put away until the child is old enough to be trained, starting from the age of thirteen. These tools are the child's only reference to have been born in Dalesborg, and also have the citizenship and right to begin the training. In order to verify that the tools are real, a community of high skilled smiths needs to engrave that year's seal.
Coming of Age Rites
You are not a grown-up until you have mastered some skill in the craftsmanship of any kind.
