Witch Hunter

While this profession is accepted and appreciated in Anuire, Ryvun and Khinasi culture, it is something the Brecht and Vos people consider barbaric. 
The Vos hunt the witch hunters for what they view as an unlawful murder of people whose only crime might have been helping people in a different way to a cleric or wizard.
The Brecht tend to stay out of it and keep the peace. Sometimes if they have evidence of crime involving the definition of witchcraft that these hunters hunt, they will actually request their help.

Qualifications

Trained by a priest of Haelyn and achieved their certification for the recognition of illicit magicks and how to combat them.

Payment & Reimbursement

Towns will pay to have witches removed from their communities and there are bounty rewards for certain wanted witches.

Other Benefits

Held in high regard by the community and are considered celebrities in the Anuire community.

Only certain types of magic are permitted in the Anuire society. Anything else is considered witchcraft and is illegal. These witch hunters make sure the evil witches do not harm their society or corrupt their people.

History

It used to be anyone could be a witch hunter, however after many innocent people were burnt at the stake the government created a qualification so the scum known as witches can be recovered without removing innocent citizens.
