Celestial Bodies

• the sun rises in the northwest and sets in the southeast

• the moon is will often obscure huge swathes of the night sky

• the stars provide little help with navigation since there is not one which is steady

• during sunset and sunrise, the sky will display purples and greens along the horizon

• during midday, the sky remains blue

• the atmosphere is 70% nitrogen, 12% oxygen, 7% argon and 11% xenon

Physiology

• blood is copper-based, and thus is blue when oxygenated

• most creatures breathe in nitrogen and exhale nitrous oxide

• plants take the nitrous oxide and convert it to oxygen

Nature

• Oceans are ammonium hydroxide H₅NO or ‎NH₄OH (bacteria during evaporation will convert the ammonia to nitrate and nitrite which then can be used by most living organisms in the form of nitrogen)

• Freshwater is hydrogen monoxide H₂O

• All life is carbon-based
