There is no known trigger which created this viral illness.

Symptoms

Infected individuals will display a fever as the first symptom followed quickly by cold sweats and hives. Next, the individual will lose muscular control and breathing becomes increasingly harder until it suffocates them.

Treatment

Until 500 KA, there was no known antidote; the discovery of a protein in lakalt blood proved to be the cure and now inoculations are commonplace to avoid another outbreak.
Before 500 KA, the only remedy which seemed to have any chance of success was a bitter tea made from a rare flower found in the Lorten Mountains. Even then, the chance of recovery was less than 5%.

Prevention

Vaccine is the best way to prevent occurrence.
