Jiy Mountains
A major mountain range spanning over 5,000 miles, it was a long-time respected border between the ancient eastern and western civilizations. The highest peak, known as "Ajoun" is over 30,000 feet above sea level. Below the cloud line, there are thick forests and dense underbrush. Above the cloud line, the peaks have been covered in snow without fail for centuries. On a clear day, near many of the lesser summits, hikers can see the oceans to the west and the plains to the east. The mountain range terminates to the north at the Glass Canyon and in the south at the Hik plains.
Natural Resources
With sweetwater springs and majestic waterfalls scattered throughout the range, the Jiys provide a respectable bounty of natural resources that include obsidian, iron, gold and marble.
