Strider
Those who Walk the World
Hood drawn against the raging snowstorm, a figure kneels to investigate rapidly disappearing tracks on the ground. Years of training and keen eyes tell them that their quarry is only two minutes ahead of them, and slowing. Taking a fraction of a second to scan the terrain ahead of them, they find the most efficient route through the underbrush and then take off in a silent sprint, drawing out their bow. Downwind and gaining, their quarry will never know what hit them.
Unparalleled Hunters
Strider is the name given to those who call the wilderness their home, or at least where they feel most at home. Traditionally excellent trackers, and hunters, Striders train for years to be able to read the land, see what other cannot, and navigate Centrilians most difficult terrains. Not all Striders are confinded to the wilderness, however. Urban Striders (sometimes called Runners) are experts at quickly and efficiently navigating the rooftops or underbelly of Centrilian's metropolitan areas. These Runners often make excellent couriers as well as thieves and assassins.
