Channeler

The roaring of the Brasdon River is almost deafening and so, in order to communicate with eachother the two young men standing on the souther bank must shout in order to be heard. It would be three days extra travel to journey up to the nearest crossing and time was of the essence, they needed to cross this river now. The current is strong, and wading across, while not impossible, is incredibly dangrous. Seeing no other option, one of the two men slowly walks forward to the edge of the water, kneels on the ground, and brings his ear down right where the river's water laps up onto the sandy bank. He closes his brilliant purple eyes, digs his fingers into the sand, and whispers something, soft and tender, to the river. There is a brilliant flash of pale grey light and, as if time had stopped instantaneously, the river is frozen solid. Spikes of crashing wakes are now jagged ice stalagmites, and a cold mist rises slowly into the warm summer afternoon. This will make their crossing much easier.

Harnessing Xaos to Preform Miracles

Xaos is an energy, gifted to all Kynd by the Patrons before their ascension to the Celestial Plane, that binds every living thing on Centrilian. For most, it is a feeling of connectedness to those around them and to the planet that sustains them, but for some it is a source of power they can harness, control, and use to perform amazing feats. Those that can harness this energy are called Channelers and the powers they posses vary far and wide. While the possibilities are largely endless when it comes to Xaosian Channeling, the techniques have been organized into five different schools, each broadly categorizing different known areas in which channelers might focus their efforts. Channelers might focus solely on one specific school, embrace a broader view of harnessing their Xaos, or even discover a new avenue of channeling to explore.

3. Coporemancy (conjuration and manipulating physical objects)
4. Relamancy (manipulation of time, space, and reality)
5. Runemancy (crafting of Xaosian Runes, for items, imbuing items and organisms with magic)
