Aetheric generator

1000 years ago on Efren a elven maiden named Thalia Maqcaryn discovered a way to harness the excess magic into an energy that could power other devices. She called her creation an aetheric generator. She combined several yellow and green ferrine together in a sphere with one red on the outside. The first aetheric generator allowed people of her village to have light after dark. It also helped to sustain an protection spell so the elves only had to put it up once a week instead of daily. Shortly there after traders to Thalia’s village discovered the aetheric generator and word spread across Efren. Many traveled to the village to understand more about this aetheric generator. Thalia made more and taught others how to make it and how to care for it. After 100 years of being only on Efren an aetheric generator was brought over to Nucrana by a noblemen. From Nucrana it went to Lafliuton then finally just as Efren cut it’s self off from the rest of the world it came to Owhua. As the aetheric generator spread Thalia traveled, because of this she was not on Efren when it cut its self off from the rest of the world. She made the best of losing her home by traveling around to the other continents teaching anyone who wanted to know about the aetheric generator. By the time that Thalia died the aetheric generator was widely available including on the unaffiliated islands. Even during Thalia’s life time new uses and ways to use the aetheric generator were being discovered. Since Thalia’s death the aetheric generator has been improved. Some are huge and feed a city, while others are tiny and power carriages. There are a few places left that don’t have a aetheric generator, but that is by choice. Unfortunately some also used the aetheric generator for weapons. Most governments and kingdoms have banned the aetheric generator weapons. A few groups still use them, and there are many magiolgist working on defeating said weapons.
