Byther is one of the most active demon lords on Centaria, with her spawns (mocking wraiths) presence ubiquitous across the entire world (perhaps less so in some places, but still there all the same). She feeds on any form of addiction, and many of those infected by her spawn do not even know they are within them. Her followers guard their devotion carefully and take no problem killing those that would get in their way.

Spawn

Mocking Wraiths invade the bodies of those targeted by Byther and negate the feeling of any damage caused by an addiction, causing the person to be less likely to notice their downfall. When they do eventually leave their host, they normally die from shock. If not, the separation is agonizing. They have no solid form and instead are entirely ethereal.
Despite their mist-like form, they can still cause extensive damage to those around them, even aside from their host. However, they can also take damage and be "killed" (it is unknown if they can truly 'die', as it were).
