Material Characteristics

A beautiful flower that, when bloomed, can have a deep purple, blue or indigo colour, with a bright white centre. Like the rose it has sharp thorns at its base, and tends to grow in bushes.

This is one of the most potent healing herbs, and is used in many healing and disease curing potions.

Geology & Geography

This plant is most commonly found in the swamps to the east of Minkarta. Harvesting them can be challenging, due to the hostile creatures in the swamp and proximity to the Pirates of Uthelmaul. It has been found in the Forest of Illyria as well.

History & Usage

Everyday use

It is the most effective herb used to cure disease, and is one of the only products known to be able to cure diseases created by Oflycus. It is often used as an ingredient in potions, enhancing its effect and creating greater healing and disease curing potions.

Distribution

Trade & Market

Due to its rarity, this is a highly sought after flower. Seldonians are the largest supplier by far, making an industry out of it in the city of Minkarta. It has been cultivated and grown in greenhouses throughout Celadia, however it is particularly hard to keep alive in artificial systems and often the effort is more expensive than it is worth.
