Sea Elves

Sea Elves are the descendants of the original elven people who took to the sea in order to remain free, bold, and one with nature.  They prefer to set up communities around reefs, small islands, and atolls.  
Sea Elves have largely remained distant from the troubles of Caveorth, but occasionally during settlements would be discovered by the Empire and either converted, enslaved, or put to spear.
Converted Sea Elves made excellent spies, scouts, and informants.
