Sagat is the leftover residue created from dissolving the bones of dragons in primordial astringent and treating the resultant putty in black emulsion.

Firm substance that feels like an admixture of resin and glass, and can be worked as such by master craftsmen.

Physical & Chemical Properties

Incredibly durable and almost completely transparent other than its iridescent sheen.  It cannot be made in quantities to support anything other than fine art and Soul Orbs, which it is uniquely suited for.

Origin & Source

It is believed the first Sagat was made by ochre gnomes after they won the battle of Ochrewatch against the ancient bronze dragon Drak-Drak-istol and his legion of goblinoids.

Life & Expiration

Sagat has outlived all races who have created it.
