Firbolg

Firbolgs are giant kin with close ties to the fey.  They have done their best to stay out of the politics and strife that has dominated Caveorth for the last two millennium, but have not always been successful.  While normally reclusive and preferring the company and culture of their own, a number of Firbolg communities have blended with the settlements of Forest Gnomes, as the two races often view the world in a similar light.  When both races defend a stonghold,  it can become impossible to attack or even find thanks to the rampant illusion magic that both races command as well being able to use the entire forest as an early warning system.
