Dragonborn

Dragonborn are a proud race that is often feared by others.  It is unknown how this race came into being, but the leading theories all point to experiments by Dragonlords to produce more "loyal" subjects using their own (or usually a rivals) eggs and subjecting them to alchemical and arcane experimentations.
Dragonborn can reproduce with other Dragonborn, but their numbers are few.  A new Dragonborn can still be hatched from the eggs of previous experiments, despite often being over a millennia old.
