Anitech Shadow Sheath

Shadow Sheath is typically made from dragon hide, treated with phenol for added flexibility.  It is reinforced with painted bronze and sagat in the most vulnerable areas in order to provide more protection to the wearer in combat.
Shadow Sheath has been known to contain anitech mechanisms that can cause temporal and ethereal distortions, shadow and light optical projections, light power thrust stators along the arms, soul resonance and tracking crystalline matrices, phase folding engines, and soul implosion reactor timing.

Mechanics & Inner Workings

Shadow Sheath usually has a small soul orb stator located in the upper back, which is used to power the various built in anitech mechanisms of the suit.

Significance

Shadow Sheath was given to high performing Imperial Halflings to allow them to better carry out their duties of assassination and disruption on the battlefield.  Given the Cavalieath Empire's reliance on Halfling Auxiliaries, very few suits of Shadow Sheath were made for larger wearers, though some larger suits were commissioned for exceptional individuals.
