The Bringer of New Powers test a giant weapon on Rocosa. After the weapon fires, it overloads and destroys itself but it is also very effective and creates a catastrophic fireball that destroys several towns in the blast zone killing thousands. The weapon also messes up the entire climate of Rocosa. Most of the population evacuated, the rest moved deep underground.
