Flouerana

Flouerana is the goddess of both magic and medicine. She is regarded as the inventor of various procedures, subsequently passed on to humans, as attested in mythical explanations attached to ritual texts. She functions as a divine midwife as well. She is a household deity due to her connection with family life and the hearth. Flouerana was the last of the three major deities of Bonte to ascend to heaven, only granted her position after she ended Thegan's dereliction. Even though she is considered the lowest of three major deities her temples and worship in many settlements outstrips the others.    Flouerana is depicted as a young woman often clothed in simple white robes. Her light platinum colored hair is kept in a tight braid plaited in a ring around her head. She carries a pouch of herbs and material spell components on her belt and is always pictured holding a large tome, depicted as both a scholarly text and spell book. In a few cases she is shown with dogs resting curled around her feet as unnamed familiars.

Divine Domains

Arcana - Flouerana's priests are often found working in conjunction with wizards and sages in schools of magic all around territories of the Bonte. Her followers consider themselves protectors of the arcane and secrets of magical lore.    Life - As dedicated healers the priests of Flouerana can found wandering among all of Bonte's communities offering aid and respite to all. This sect of Flouerana's followers rarely meet in large numbers or found churches choosing instead to follow the hermetic model of Flouerana's life.    Knowledge - Devoted to building and safeguarding the great libraries of the Bonte the followers of Flourana view themselves as consummate gatherers and guardians of written lore. A number of her followers take work as scribes in large schools of magic, medicine, and the arts believing the work of documenting knowledge a form of divine reverence.
