Bothelm

The Bothelm halflings are shorter and stockier than other halflings. Unlike their more nomadic cousins their culture is sedentary in nature, focused on agriculture, home, and hearth. Bothelm have tend to have brown, blond, or black hair but tones are nearly as diverse as humans. They usually have blue or green eyes. Bothelm rarely grow facial hair though they kept their side burns thick near mid-cheek which they often braided. 
The Bothelm's religion focuses on deities of agriculture and civilization. The primary deity of the Bothelm is Anu, god of sky and weather who nurtures the fields and grants the Bothelm with harvest. Second only to Anu, is his wife Anzili the goddess of childbirth that often departs from her husband when he becomes angry, creating destructive storms. He then must spend his time to mollify her to bring her back usually with offerings of glades of blooming flowers.
