Kaure

Kaure-Umalael Yaranevae be’Son (Squire Kaure Yaranevae of Son) is a female Korasha and Lady Vaeol’s wifemate, and became her alternate shieldbearer while Remaue was still nursing Lanaryel. After a rough start in life as an underprivileged cross-clade (her mother disowned her when she developed Korasha) and training as a stable groom, she has become a formidable Shotalashu spear-rider and knife-fighter. Additionally, while their flag traveled through the Retaea moors, she was inducted into the priesthood of Elindrae, the shapeshifting Moon-God. 

She is happy being matemother to Vaeol’s and Remaue’s children, but since she just held her bridetide in which she took Hauronil, a male Damaya masquerading as an Elf, as her First Man, that may change.
