~O'mei yaoma Vaeol-Ilea mi Vosaethea olllaea ahya-eshodi ha lemassa o'temassi o Qabarat.~ (In which Lady Vaeol’s and Voseath’s flags do the best they can to occupy themselves while stuck in Qabarat.)

3. Zielae, 25,547 - Qabarat: 2nd Day of Qualmlock

Today I woke sore and ill. Although first we feared the qualm, it outcame the illness is more wifely than sick. My body has seemingly given bad answer to the womb-bane, which is altogether mislucky for more reason than one. On Remaue’s rede, she yielded two choices: I may stop drinking it today and take hap of growing bechild, or I drink a twofold share and become even sicker for the next twosome days, but without bechildness’s threat. Either wise, no more manly love. I shrive I feel cheated, forwhy after forgoing so long, the thought had gladdened me. Since I wished to get the ordeal wholly done, I drank the twofold share and plan to do rather nothing tomorrow, which also seems a waste.

After mornmeal, with the other riders, we brought the Shotalashu to the neighboryard. We rode them aring and then let them play, although we must forbid them climbing the neighbortree. Then I oversaw our house’s drilltide, even much as I would prefer to take share. Meiss proudly held the yard and dared our newcomers. He showed well, though our Retaea kindred doughtily bestowed some smart blows. Sievae’s bout went long while I watched. She struck back so well as Meiss her manlove, and which showed her mended after her bridetide ordeal. Vosaeth’s bout also went long, though for else reasons. I read by her antennae's bounce that my lusty oathsister took hap to flirt. Since she has outcomefully lost Neish to Istae while their stay, she doubtlessly seeks to pad her harem and will soon ask boon of Sievae. Our drillshow also drew the neighborhood’s heed. Some folk have beseeched to take share, and we have overtalked gathering a neighborhood fird-drill, which will helpfully busy hands idle under qualmlock.

Hauronil has beseeched leave from Semuane’s mothers to tend the midyard. His heart lies not in warcraft but in growing trees and blossomworts. He read that in the short while forelooked he cannot make a right elfyard. Yet he can better the idleness.

Erenow, Meiss sought me while I wrote. He beseeched speech, knelt, and laid brow on my belly. He asked how he might yield faith. I dearly stroked his nape, kissed and answered I reck how much he gladdens Sievae. So I bade him yield my childsister his whole faith. Instead of sorrow, my word relieved him. He took my hands, thanked my liss, and swore service if I call. Then again he kissed my belly and withdrew.

At his earnestness I almost wept. ~Stei kanas yi-yanassas?~ - Why does he seem so young?

5. Zielae, 24,547 - Qabarat: 4th Day of Qualmlock

No word yesterday since as foreseen, I was too sick, like bloodtide’s worst onset. I almost think I would rather give birth and have some worth from my illness. Yet Aeosel snuggled to my slumber, which I thankfully loved. Then Kaure did samely and held me in blissful mindlessness.

Today I feel better and can eat. From a bench in the neighboryard I watched the children while our housemates drilled, along with some bold neighbors. Meiss again held the yard. Gladly, his will did not yield under Vosaeth as the mistake he had first made fighting me at the Lemussa Yard. I reckon he is healed of that weakness. Then Kaure dared him, and they had a throw-down, grappling Korasha-fight that shook the earth and left them so muddy they had to cleanse the bath afterward.

Laterward, back at the household, Oshis sought me sitting in the windroom. Too well he had witted my earlier mood while I sat watching the drill and rued weakness. He soothingly lay brow on my shoulder. At once, his clean manly smell smote. I recked his stubble, jaw and shoulders, rubbing my skin. Anon my lust hungered until I shut thighs together. He wared and chuckled. I lay brow on his, glorying in his easy might, and then ruefully bade him leave.

6. Zielae, 24,547 - Qabarat: 5th Day of Qualmlock

Since today would wontfully be market day, but for the qualmlock, it became the fulsome day to hold the neighborhood drill. I felt well enough to take share, and so with Semuane and Istae, along with Lady Mire an elder outrider, oversaw. We gathered not quite a hundred Korasha under weapons and harness and overlooked kit. Then we bade them stand arow, march, and reshape in all warlike wise. At the end, we had them brunt in rows from the neighboryard’s side to the other until the treesinger forbade, warning that such wild mood might bother the neighbortree. So we halted and instead had them run ten laps aring the yard. Then we stood them sharp, praised their deed, and gave leave along with bestowal of fresh winewater and a stew of grubworm and riceberries. We have forespoken aftomorrow to hold bowdrill, although this will need readiness. Butts must be made. Also, the neighboryard is not fulsomely broad. So sideshrouds must be hung against stray shots.

Naughtily, I made Remaue afterhunt as my shieldbearer while I watched the drills. Yet I also must deal with Vosaeth and her household’s wickedness. Our Retaea moor-wanderers chose not to take share, but instead to offstand and make fun of the marching cityfolk. I bade them hush with this word: ~Maloma loea moaraea ilama o’aden-evani,~ - “We each drill warriorly worth in shed wise.” Vosaeth grinned. ~A miqye, o’usi naeshyelze, o’soati loea moaraea si lathya-shyalf,~ - “My oathsister, if you feel well enough, I will show you warriorly worth tomorrow.” I took her dare.

7. Zielae, 24,547 - Qabarat; 6th Day of Qualmlock

Today I reclove drilltide among our houses. Vosaeth and I let the Korasha spar first. We gladly watched Oshis and Meiss cast each other in an awesome knockdown, followed by Kaure and Hanos, and then Less fighting Donas a neighbor. Then lazily we two oathsisters introd the ring, almost strolling, antennae light and lofty. Yet we already bewared and fooled neither.

After a first set of jabs, she hit from length a kick at my chin. It smartly swerved my head, whereat she laughed and said I had grown too used to fighting short Korasha. I reckoned her word’s truth. Then I leapt, struck a punch to breast, and felled her until wallowing aback. At my strength she gaped. Yet then her grin shifted hungry. ~Yi-mei!~ she yelled: “It’s on!” Then we fought so fiercely almost as match our bout in Lea, although now luckily our birthmight no longer bewildened us.

Yet afterward I minded my oathsister’s word. Although I have wealed from this yeartide fighting with the Lemussa’s Korasha, some of the city’s doughtiest, I must forethink the upcoming Motorae Games. When qualmlock ends, I will talk with Master Evauess.

Recap: Lady Vaeol caught up with Vosaeth while the household blearily recovered from Kaure's bridetide.
