Fallen

The Fallen are the most unlucky of Fey. They possess the baggage of their relation to their court brethren, while never having experienced it themselves.
Fallen are the descendants of Fey who were cast out by the courts, were left behind when the rest of their kin retreated to them, or were stolen from by invaders. Much of their magical ability and longevity has faded from them, and the Courts consider them elven in appearance only. Due to the negative reptuation of the Fey, many other races enjoy taking out their frustrations on the Fallen, abusing and enslaving them, leading the Fallen to often gather in small, tight-nit communities far from Castoran civilization.
Curiously, Fallen often develop a tie to the world, both physical and spiritual.
