Welcome to the Stars Systems of Cassiopeia

It is 791 PLE (post lunar event)

About 800 years ago, a rift in space formed, and with the Lunar event that happened a group of starships came through, fleeing from the initial ramifications of the event. At the squadron's helm was a ship led by SF SGT MJR Yuthra. Yuthra and their fleet, landed on the first planet through the rift to gain a foothold and recover. The peaceful native folk to the planet called it Aeor, and welcomed these alien newcomers with open arms, as they did not care much for war, and a peaceful coexistence was sprouted. This made Aeor the new central base of operations on this side of the rift. Over the next 200 years, more citezens fled through the rift to Aeor, and as such, the Yuthran Empire, that had named itself for its saving commander who made the decision to flee through the rift, spread in this time. It sought out planets in the current and neighboring galaxies, conquering them where needed to be able to house the fleeing refugees. Over the next 500 years, a battle breaks out, and the focus is drawn towards keeping an unknown leaking of strange energy into the systems of Cassiopeia, until 10,010 mages are sacrificed to prevent more of this energy from coming into the system. After that a mysterious illness sprouts, and the two empires are at war with each other once more, the Martials and Mages working as a neutral party with their own interests. This is the era of smuggling, and fighting for what is wanted, not neccesarily what is good.
