Session X: Deathcrest Report

General Summary

The crew arrives in the forest, and meet Ero, get offered 6,000 gp for the medicine and helping get rid of the Kaorti. They meet Nier, a druid who has been living with the Deathcrest apes assisiting the Druid Clans in the forest dealing with the black rot that has invaded from the meteor/space rocks. The group talked to the captain and the Icarus landed in the clearing by the temporary camp set up, and the 4 NPC crew are going to care for and maintain the people in the tempory housing place leaving the player characters to assist the deathcrest apes.
Najda gives each player a Greater Healing potion (4d4+4) as a parting gift. Kosmos takes Vapour up on their offer to borrow each other's axes for a short while and recieves Artic Smite. Caroline gets the gun from Verve and practices with it. (Verve and Jonathan will need to talk with me briefly about some mechanics before the encounter starts)
The players travel to the location where the rot is contained and encounter a misty darkness that we ended with. Kosmos heard rustling and knows there are a few things moving in the darkness.
