The Dragon's Reach Riots.
When people learned what had happened in "The Chain", many protested. The king tried to talk to the people with the help of several mages to project an image of the kings face over the city. He really tried to calm people down, but to no avail. After his speech, he told several "higher ups" to "handle things"..and they did..In the most violent way possible.
200 were killed, many more were injured and several hundreds more were arrested.
