Izzil-Hiir

The Izzil-Hiir is the native people of Grimsfield Island. Their culture is almost gone, only a few tribes cling to the old ways. Many Izzil-Hiir work in the mines for a starving wage.The Izzil-Hiir was once a proud people until The Concord arrived. Now they are reduced to second class citizens and cheap labor. They are free to leave as soon as they can afford a ticket off the island. They get paid very little and have to pay for a roof over their heads and food on the table. When all expenses are paid for, they have a few coppers a week for other things. Special rules for the Izzil-Hiir has been set in place, so they have to pay a 20g fee to quit their job.
