The Huslands

The Huslands is a wet grassland with few native inhabitants, mostly consisting of small Lizardfolk families tending their rice fields. Before colonization by man and elf, The Huslands were not specifically owned by the lizardfolk, rather it was free land. Sondur saw this opportunity to claim it, which led to a terrible war between Sondur and Lesalia. This ended with no victor, and resulted in an agreement to share it as unclaimable no mans land. Eventually, towns were built as the free land attracted many migrants. The low level of authority has birthed a lot of crime.
